Day 01 :
Kigali
  • Arrival at Kigali International Airport.
  • Meet and greet by Akagera Aviation for quick immigration clearance.
  • PCR test for primate trekking.
  • Transfer to your hotel in the city.
  • Check-in assistance and tour briefing at the lobby.
  • Dinner and overnight stay (Half board: Dinner, Bed & Breakfast).
Day 02 :
Kigali – Musanze & Volcanoes National Park
  • Breakfast at the hotel and check out.
  • 09:00: Guided city tour including Kigali Genocide Memorial and Choose Kigali Arts Gallery. Options: Museum for Campaign Against Genocide, fashion house, or local market.​
  • Lunch at Heaven Restaurant.
  • 14:00: Leisurely drive to Musanze & Volcanoes National Park.
  • Arrive at 17:00, assisted check-in with welcome drink.
  • Dinner and overnight stay (Full board: Lunch, Dinner, Bed & Breakfast).
Day 03 :
Volcanoes National Park (Golden Monkey Trek & Culture)
  • Early breakfast at the lodge.
  • 07:00: Golden monkey trek briefing at the park headquarters.
  • 08:00: Proceed to trailhead for golden monkey trek.
  • Descend, return to lodge for lunch and boot cleaning.
  • 14:30: Exclusive visit to Gorilla Guardians Village.**
  • Return to lodge, dinner, and overnight stay (Full board).
Day 04 :
Volcanoes National Park (Gorilla Trek & Twin Lakes)
  • Early breakfast at the lodge.
  • 07:00: Gorilla trek briefing at the park headquarters.
  • 08:00: Trailhead for gorilla trek.
  • Descend, return to lodge for lunch.
  • Afternoon visit to the twin lakes of Ruhondo and Burera.
  • Return to lodge, dinner, and overnight stay (Full board).
Day 05 :
Volcanoes – Kigali – Depart
  • Breakfast at the lodge, settle extra expenses.
  • Check out at 10:30.
  • Set off for Kigali. Arrive in time for lunch at Pili Pili Restaurant or similar.
  • Optional visit to Haute Baso shop for souvenirs.
  • Transfer to Kigali International Airport.
  • Bid farewell to your driver-guide and check in for your outbound flight.
